Assessment of economic benefits of the road, water and sewage infrastructure rehabilitation performed in several Georgian cities in the framework of the World Bank Regional and Municipal Infrastructure Development Project (RMIDP + AF).
The study was based on beneficiary surveys of households, local businesses and municipal government representatives in the following towns: Zestaponi, Sairme (Imereti region), Khashuri, Gori (Shida Kartli), Rustavi (Kvemo Kartli) and Kobuleti (Adjara). In all of these towns at least two of the three types of infrastructure interventions were performed under RMIDP. ISET-PI team conducted the beneficiary surveys and analyzed the socio-economic impact of the infrastructure projects under the RMIDP.
