This project implements Hierarchical Linear Modeling and identifies determinant factors for mathematics test results in Georgia.
It is a well-known fact that educational achievements depend on a student’s family background, the quality of teachers and the governance of school. In this study, researchers exploited four different survey data (9th grade students, parents, teachers and principals surveys in 2015) and students’ mathematics test results. By using Hierarchical Linear Modeling, key influencing factors were identified and studied that have statistically significant impact on educational outcomes.
