Mariam Chachava received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia in 2015. She obtained an MA degree from International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University in 2017. While studying at ISET she was enrolled in an Energy and Environment Concentration.
Mariam Joined Energy and Environment Policy Research Center (EEPRC) at ISET Policy Institute in September 2017. Also, she is teaching undergraduate Microeconomics at the University of Georgia.
Junior Researcher at the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center
Guram Lobzhanidze is a junior researcher at the Energy and Environment Policy Research Center (EEPRC) of the ISET Policy Institute, having joined the center in July 2020. Guram holds a BA in International Relations (which focused on Chinese studies) from the Free University of Tbilisi. In 2016-2017, he studied the Chinese language at the Xiamen University of Technology in China, and in 2020 received his MA in Economics (Summa cum Laude) from ISET. His Master's project focused on the optimal matching of universities and students of different types. Prior to starting his job at the ISET Policy Institute, he was a teaching assistant for Master's degree students at ISET, teaching Microeconomics modules I, II, III, V, and Econometrics.
Head of the Governance and Social Policy Research Center
A native of Belgium, Luc Leruth has an MSc in Mathematics as well as an MA and a PhD in Economics. He has spent most of his career in international financial institutions (mostly the IMF, but also at the AsDB) in a number of positions, including as Head of the Fiscal transparency Unit, Secretary of the G-10, and Director of several Regional Technical Assistance Centers of the IMF in Africa and in the Pacific. He has spent many years in academia, including at the Indian Statistical Institute in Delhi, at the Universities of Liège, Brussels and Essex, and has published extensively in scientific journals. Mr. Leruth also has experience in the Fintec sector and has published several novels.
Junior Researcher at the Private Sector Development Research Center
Levan Tevdoradze is a Junior Researcher at the ISET Policy Institute's Private Sector Development Policy Research Center. Levan holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Central European University's (CEU's) School of Public Policy (SPP) (2020), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Governance and Social Sciences from the Free University of Tbilisi (2017).
Before joining the ISET-Policy Institute, Levan worked as a Research Intern at Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development (MoESD) where he was part of the Economic Policy department team. Prior to this, Levan served as an Economic Analyst at Georgia's Reforms Associates' (GRASS), and also delivered seminars to BA students for the "Law and Economics" course at the Agricultural University of Georgia.

Elene Seturidze has recently completed a Master's degree in Economics at the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET). She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).
While studying for her BA, she worked as an intern at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia at the department of foreign trade. During her MA studies, she worked as a student expert at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and was involved in accreditation processes. In 2019, Elene had an internship at the ISET-PI Governance and Social Policy Research Center, and in 2020 she worked as a research assistant for a project at Colliers International.
