Koba Gvenetadze, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Georgia, Governor since 2016. He held position of Economic Adviser of “Galt & Taggart” (2015-2016). He worked at the International Monetary Fund, in Washington D.C. as Senior Economist of Middle East and Central Asia Department (2002-2015). He held positions of Deputy State Minister (2001-2002) and Deputy Finance Minister of Georgia (2000-2001). In different years he worked for the National Bank of Georgia as a Senior Economist, and for the Local Office of the International Monetary Fund as an Economist. Mr. Gvenetadze is a graduate of Tbilisi State University, Department of Finances and Credit. He also graduated from American University, Washington DC, USA in 2000 with a Master of Arts degree in Economics.
Executive Assistant to the Director
Mari Khokhobashvili holds a Master's Degree in the field of Social Sciences from Ivane Javakhishvili State University.
She joined the ISET community in October 2019 as Executive Assistant to the Director.
Her responsibilities include administrative support to the Director, assisting the Deputy Director of Operations and Deputy Director of Finance and HR in administrating day to day processes, the planning and coordination of different activities, as well as helping in the administration of HR-related tasks.
Anders Olofsgård is currently deputy director at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics, and associate professor at the Stockholm School of Economics. Before that he was associate professor at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University.
He earned his Ph. D. in economics from the Institute for International Economic Studies, at Stockholm University, in 2001. Anders’ primary research areas are political economy, development and applied microeconomics, and he has published widely in both economics and political science journals. Anders has also been a visiting scholar at the research department of the IMF, and done work for among others the World Bank, USAID and the Swedish Parliament.
Public Relations Officer
Keti Gagoshidze joined ISET in 2019. With her strong communication skills and creative mind, Keti has been working in the field of media, communications and marketing during her entire career. She has also served as a freelance production manager in some of the leading Georgian companies in the insurance and finance industry.
Keti graduated from the Caucasus University and earned her BA in Media and Mass Communications. She participated in student exchange programs in South Korea and Istanbul, where she enhanced her skills and knowledge.
