On January 16, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the ISET Policy Institute and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development (MoESD) of Georgia. The document was signed by Eric Livny, President of the ISET Policy Institute, and Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The Memorandum envisages the planning and implementation of joint projects, trainings and research activities. Additionally, successful ISET students will have the opportunity to intern at and otherwise cooperate with the MoESD.
“ISET is a young organization but you have already established yourself as an excellent educational institution and a very successful Georgian think tank,”
— stated the Minister before signing the Memorandum. Mr. Kvirikashvili emphasized the role of the ISET Policy institute in policy analysis, complimented the quality of the Institute’s work thus far, and expressed his hope for more intensive and deeper cooperation between the two institutions for the benefit of the Georgian society.
