ISET Policy Institute executive director Lasha Labadze attended the fourth annual ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum 2016 on October 27-28 in New Delhi, India, organized by the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), and the Asian Development Bank. The forum discussed the latest global and regional policy developments and country-specific experiences on sustainable urbanization. The forum was attended by roughly 30 think tank members of the ADB-Asian Think Tanks Network from Asia and the Pacific. Dynamic and fruitful discussions resulted in the exchange of international experiences regarding sustainable urban development.

The Forum 2016 will brought together forty participants from top think tanks in 27 Asian and Pacific countries including New Zealand. New participants from think tanks in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan attended for the first time. Experts from three regional think tanks (ADB Institute, CAREC Institute and the Regional Cooperation Institute) shared their experiences on the selected topics.
