On May 20-22, 2015 Lasha Labadze, Deputy Director of ISET Policy Institute attended the Third Global Think Tank Summit in Manila, Philippines. The Summit was co-hosted by Asian Development Bank (ADB), the ADB Institute, and the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the University of Pennsylvania. The general topic of the summit was Inclusive Knowledge Partnerships for Development and it comprised panel discussions on best practices and innovative knowledge partnerships.
A panel of thought leaders shared succinct views on how international organizations can engage in knowledge partnerships.
The objective was to reach a common understanding of the priorities, challenges, and opportunities for future knowledge partnership initiatives in specific areas such as education, health, inclusive infrastructure, urban resilience, and a green environment.
The Think Tank summit was a step forward to build long-term relationships between ADB and ISET Policy Institute – a strategic knowledge partner from whom ADB can tap innovations to enhance the way it does its business and who will help co-create knowledge solutions that address the priority needs of Georgia.
