On Sunday, May 3rd, ISET team participated in worldwide charity event “Wings for Life” that was held in the region of Kakheti, East Georgia in order to contribute to the global campaign and express solidarity to the people with spinal cord injury who cannot run. In total, all ISETers ran more than 50 kilometers!
Wings for life is an international non-profit spinal cord research foundation that aims to find a cure for spinal cord injury. The organization funds world-class scientific research and clinical trials all around the world aimed at healing the above-mentioned disease.
The World Run 2015 was held in 35 different locations around the globe, according to the official statistics published by the organization,
over 73,000 people participated in this charity marathon this year.
As for Georgia, with the total 5,000 participants, who officially registered for the event, Georgia was second among 33 other countries.
