ISET

ISET has broadened its international connections by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Clermont-Auvergne University, a leading public university in central France. The MOU will allow ISET students and faculty to visit and study in France, and – most exciting of all – includes a clause that provides for the future development of dual degrees to be granted from both universities. The broader cooperation between parties will also cover exchanges of researchers, development of research programs, participation in conferences, workshops and seminars.

The agreement was signed after a more lengthy process than expected due to the travel complications caused by the ongoing coronavirus crisis; senior Clermont-Auvergne faculty were scheduled to visit ISET in May, only for their trip to be cancelled.

However, full cooperation will begin in January 2021, and the new partnership offers exciting opportunities for both parties to the agreement. A number of French MA students will join ISET in the new year, and further exchanges of students and faculty will be organised for the future.

Although ISET enjoys partnerships with economic universities and research centres all over the world, this is the first Memorandum of Understanding the institute has signed with a French partner. The community cannot wait to welcome the first of its new French friends to ISET!
