After the great success in preparing and delivering the Young Bankers training program for ProCredit Bank Georgia, a new training program for senior bank staff was developed and conducted in Tbilisi and Batumi in 2012.

Three different groups participated in the program. These three groups consisted of employees from two departments - The Medium Loans Assessment Department and Corporate Client Service Department.

In this particular program, four modules were incorporated: General Microeconomics; General Macroeconomics; Banking and Data Analysis

Since November 2011, ISET Policy Institute has been implementing a project with ProCredit Bank, Georgia the aim of which is to introduce the Bank's employees to the basic principles of economics.

This training program, named "101 Economics", is now conducted on a quarterly basis for the Bank's 200 employees. "101 Economics" has been designed as an applied course for Georgia's financial sector. The project's instructors include ISET graduates, who hold leading positions in various public and private sector organizations, and ISET Policy Institute's research associates.

The project "Managing Public Investments at the Municipal Level in Georgia" has been implemented by NISPAcee (The Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe), in co-operation with the Project Partner Institutions NALAG (The National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia) and ISET Policy Institute.

The project is supported by SlovakAid, a Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Programme.

The aim of the training series was to enable Georgian municipalities to manage efficiently and effectively their public investments and develop public investment strategies. With this purpose ISET-PI Research Fellows developed the training module on managing investments and public finance at the municipal level in Georgia. Development of the training modules was supervised by public finance experts from Slovakia.
