ISET has started a Lecture Series of TSU’s Distinguished Professors. Once a month, ISET will host notable TSU professors from various faculties who will deliver a one hour presentation for ISETers.
On September 5, the Lecture Series launched at the ISET conference hall with the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Professor Vladimer Papava presenting on “Necroeconomics and Georgia’s Experience of Post-Communist Economic Transformation”. In his presentation, Papava talked about Georgia's economic and political path from 1990's up until year 2014. The presentation caused great interest, resulting in heated discussions.
The International School of Economics at TSU welcomed a new cohort of Economics Master’s students on September 1. There are 53 students in the new 2016 class; nine from Armenia, one from Azerbaijan and forty-three from Georgia.
